Our local Target has had a big face lift. The changes include clothing alteration services, T-shirt printing stations, a Kids play zone, in-store cafe. What I was most excited about was their new amazing range of healthier food options! Options that include additive free products!!
The old Target had the usual layout you will notice at all department stores or supermarkets, the queue for check outs would be lined with rows of unhealthy treats, all aimed at your little one’s eye level, so pester power would be strongest! How many times have you seen kids throwing tantrums at the check out aisle (especially around Easter time!)? The struggles between parent and child!
The new items on display whilst queuing include bubble wands, water balloons. healthier treats. Whilst pester power won’t disappear, it is so refreshing to see Target taking these steps!
Whilst Target still has an amazingly huge lolly section laden with additives, it has made great steps in catering for the health conscious shopper, ensuring there are additive free products available. Target is even stocking one of my favourite brands – Organic Times! You will be sure to hear more from me regarding Organic Times in the future!
